The Mariners Morning story in the mountains of Nan

Mariners Morning is a continuation of a Royal project implemented by the late King Rama IX and the Queen of Thailand to help local farmers and hill tribes create their own sustainable economy in the northern mountains of Thailand and Laos. The community continued their business with the crops already planted and the infrastructure in place, but during the Covid pandemic the business was severely affected and all export routes were cut off, leaving tens of thousands of farmers without income and the facilities unused. In 2024, by a chance meeting on a drive through the mountains, we met the team that had worked closely with the Royal family on this project and became fast friends. Over two years we built a relationship with the farmers, grew a network and a brand, and brought Mariners Morning Coffee to fruition as a way to help support the local communities of the Nan region of Thailand.

Our Goal

To help bring economic stability to the region while promoting the wonderful coffee they have been lovingly growing.
